Planning for a 1st birthday can be so stressful! I found myself so emotional. One minute I was excited thinking "my daughter is at such a fun age, we can do so many things now" and the next minute I was sobbing saying "where has my little girl gone?" Needless to say I was a hot mess for a couple of weeks. I just knew that on the day of the party I would be hysterical, but I wasn't! I actually surprised myself, but I was so knee deep in following Berk around making sure she was enjoying herself, to making sure everyone else was happy and laughing at kids on the water slide that I didn't have time to think about getting sad with so much laughter and joy in the air! Now onto the pictures!!!

1st Birthday Party Recap #1
Yes it has been 2 weeks since Berk’s birthday
party and yes I am just now posting on it! Let’s be realistic…I’m a wife, mom,
daughter, sister, aunt, fitness coach, etc… my life is busy! For Berkley’s
birthday I decided to stick with pink ombre. I knew that I wouldn't regret it
in the long run! I didn't want to choose a theme, because Berkley really isn't in to TV yet. I would have hated to have had a teddy bear party & then she
beg for one on her 2nd birthday! When thinking of party decorations
I knew what I wanted, but didn't want to spend a fortune in it. After all we
were feeding 75 people! After many log ins to Pinterest & You Tube I knew
that I would “dim” (do it myself). Decorations will be on post #2

Berkley LOVED the slide! We all did actually!
Just a little too fast here!
Berkley with her grandparents! She was too busy eating cake to look at the camera.
